unable to receive emails

I have Avast 4.8 and SuperAnitSpyware newly installed, and now cannot
receive emails in Windows Mail-I am not sure how to turn them off or if that
is the issue. Can someone help in simple computerese?

I suggest that you check the settings for email scanning in both of your
security programs and disable one or both of them from scanning your mail.

And, if you need more help with Windows Mail, you may want to post to the
Vista.mail newsgroup instead of this one.
