This newsgroup is for the former Foldershare, now called Windows Live Sync.
I assume that you mean that you installed Windows Live Mail.
Yes, it is simply an email client program. Your account settings will allow you
to check for new mail and send mail, but any and all mail previously downloaded
to your PC can be viewed by anyone with access to your Windows login on the PC.
Help for Windows Live Mail (downloaded from http://download.live.com) can be
found here - http://help.live.com

Post by BrownieI have Live installed at home and at work. I've noticed that even if I don't
sumit my password my old emails can still be accessed. It just won't check
for new ones.
Can i change this so all access is denied if an incorrect password is
submitted?
Thanks
